Dublin Bloggers Meetup #7

Yesterday evening I attended another Dublin Bloggers Meetup for the #SummerMeetup organized by Fiona Murphy of the Irish Bloggers Association & Cool Events, which was held in the tres chic Avenue by Nick Munier, on Crow Street in Temple Bar. It was an extremely fun event that had a great party vibe to it, as Fiona had booked the upstairs area of the restaurant, with comfortable seating, atmospheric lighting and a fully stocked bar of great variety. For the event I wore a glittering number from my beloved Soho Market in St. Stephen’s Green Shopping Centre, which really is one of the best boutiques in our Fair City. (Full outfit details coming soon!)

The event was very hyper with many bloggers attending, along with social media gurus and some Irish stars. Fiona also spoilt us with a delightful fragrance by The Body Shop, with thanks to Revolve PR, to celebrate the release of their Italian Summer Fig Eau de Toilette. The fragrance has a unique mix of tones from fresh, bitter green notes with fruity and milky sweet facets for that wondrous green forest scent. The half-globe bottle is perfect for this too, and the fact that the figs for this scent were handpicked in Italy makes this even more special. I cannot wait to use the fragrance during this late summer.

Avenue by Nick Munier is also a wonderful venue, and their food & drink is definitely at its A-game. We were treated to Taki Duck and Burnt Pineapple tasters followed by mini ice creams, which were truly delicious. I’ll definitely be back for dinner, and soon! I also got to meet and have a few chats with Nick Munier himself, which was lovely as I really admire him. (Remember Nick was one of the speakers at the first Irish Bloggers Conference.) Killer Fashion definitely recommends trying Avenue by Nick Munier

A lot of fabulous people attended this meetup, and I got to catch up with Mr Ireland 2014 Karl Bowe, social media guru Darragh Doyle, BFFs illustrator & blogger Holly Shortall and blogger Jamie Tuohy and so many more. I attended the event with my besties Filomena, Mei Ling & Kassi and met up with many great friends & bloggers. Here are some of the fabulous blogger links, apologies I couldn’t name ye all!
