Best Dressed at BAFTA Film Awards 2018

On Sunday evening (February 18), the 71st annual EE British Academy Film Awards 2018 took place in the traditional venue of Royal Albert Hall in London. The fashion at this year’s show was a little different but a lot more statement-worthy as, similar to the Golden Globes 2018, stars attending the BAFTAs opted to wear black on the red carpet. Making a statement in solidarity with the #TIMESUP Movement, the attendees showed their support in gender equality, anti-bullying and to end sexual misconduct, assault and abuse within the film industry and more. Below you’ll notice that the categories are more about the details for these beautiful black dresses. So without further ado, here is the Killer Fashion Best Dressed List for this year’s BAFTAs.

Killer Fashion Choice

Originally I had reserved a black gown by Ralph & Russo, but after seeing the beautiful Rita Ora wear it at the Grammys, I knew I had to switch it up and therefore this stunning Tony Ward Autumn/Winter 2018 Couture collection gown is my choice for this year’s BAFTAs. I truly adore that dramatic shoulder and it cascading down the side with the peekaboo mesh panelling and the teal blue embellishments too. There’s a lot going on with this dress and yet it’s still quite simplistic. Beautiful and definitely fitting for the occasion.
